Parks Canada announced today that camping will gradually resume in your favourite National Parks and History Sites on June 22, but only for reservations that are made ahead of time, to start.
National Parks have been opened since June 1, but the camping facilities remained closed. That changes now, as you can keep an eye on the national park campsites you’ve had your eye on, for summer adventures, for gradual re-opening.
National parks will then gradually begin to accept new online reservations for some campgrounds over the coming weeks.
What about traveling to different provinces?
Canadians who plan to travel outside of their home province to camp at or visit a Parks Canada destination must follow the applicable provincial or territorial travel restrictions including any requirements for self-isolation,” Furthermore, “It is not possible to self-isolate at Parks Canada campgrounds.”
